• Sizes F/5/3.75mm and G/6/4mm crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
• 7/8-inch buttons: 4
• Stitch markers
GAUGE Size G hook: 18 hdc = 4 inches; 13 hdc rows = 4 inches; 5-dc group and 5 sc = 5 inches

Sew shoulder seams.
Fold 1 Sleeve in half, place fold at seam, sew in place.
Rep with rem Sleeve.
Sew side and Sleeve seams.  
BUTTON BAND
Row 1: With RS facing, working in ends of rows with size F hook, join with sc at neck edge on Left Front, evenly sp sc down Front edge, place marker 17 inches from bottom edge where Lace Pattern ends. Fasten off.
Row 2: Join with sc in marked st, sc in each st across to neck edge, turn. Remove marker.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Rep last row until Button Band measures 1 1/2 inches from beg. At end of last row, fasten off.
BUTTONHOLE BAND
Row 1: Working in ends of rows with size F hook, join with sc at lower Right Front edge, evenly sp sc across to Neck edge, place marker 17 inches from bottom edge at end of Lace Pattern, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across to marker, turn. Remove marker.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Rep row 3 until Band measures 3/4 inch from beg. Evenly sp 4 markers down Band for buttonholes. 
Next row: Ch 1, sc in each st across to marker, ch 3, sk next 3 sts (buttonhole), [sc in each st across to marker, ch 3, sk next 3 sts] across, sc in each st across, turn. Remove markers.
Next row: Ch 1, sc in each st across with 3 sc in each ch sp, turn.
Rep row 3 until Buttonhole measures 1 1/2 inches from beg. At end of last row, fasten off.
NECK TRIM
Row 1: With RS facing, working in ends of rows and in sts, with size F hook, join with sc in beg of
Front Neck Shaping, evenly sp sc across to opposite side of Neck Shaping on other Front, do not turn. Fasten off.
Row 2: Join with sc in first st, [sk next 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, sk next 2 sts, sc in next st] across. Fasten off.
